TIM-BAR International Paper Co. S.A. is a local manufacturer of corrugated cardboard which started its operation on December 1982 as a subsidiary of Tim-Bar Paper Co. of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, United States. The plant is located at the industrial park (SONAPI) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and is able to respond to a monthly demand of 5 to 6 Million square feet of board surface with a one shift per day.

The Corrugator is 78 inches wide and heated with high pressure steam. The major components are:

•Langston B and C flute model XA with fingers

•Langston double backer

•Triplex Slitter / Scorer by Geo. W. Swift

•Double Rotary Cut off by Langston.

This Corrugator is capable of furnishing a variety of carton resistance and strength B/C flute, 150/ 200/ 250/ 275 test and double wall. Carton quality is directly affected by selection of the paper utilized and Tim-Bar has throughoutthe years used the best paper quality from the finest Mills in Canada and USA. Some renowned mills we buy from are: Georgia Pacific / Graphic Packaging/Norampac/ Boise / Cascade etc...

In the year 2001, by acquisition, Tim-Bar became vertically integrated to produce finished RSC and Die Cut boxes. Today, the complete operation is under one roof. In 2010 Tim-Bar bought a brand new, state of the art 3 color Flexo / Folder / Gluer Topra MD made by Don Fang. The Flexo is a high speed, precision and quality printing machine with proper caliber and adjustment of pull roll, impression roll, rubber roll and ceramic anilox roll. This machine can handle up to 10 thousand boxes an hour with easy access and a touch screen computer to manage the runs. After 30 years of Operation, the company has the experience to fulfill all types of packaging needs.
